Leather Making Technology: Study On Flame Retardancy Of Waterborne Polyurethane Adhesive Loaded With Zinc Oxide

Four kinds of ZnO materials with different morphologies were synthesized by hydrothermal method and citric acid assisted heating method. XRD (X-ray diffraction), SEM (scanning electron microscope), FTIR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy), bet (BET specific surface area test) were used to characterize and analyze the structure and morphology of the product. The thermal stability and flame retardancy of WPU loaded on WPU were studied by TG and vertical combustion test. The results showed that the combustion time of WPU composite with small stone like zinc oxide was better than that of pure W The tensile strength of Pu was increased by 11.4%, while the elongation at break of Pu was 43% lower than that of other morphology ZnO.

Conclusion·

In this study, four kinds of ZnO crystals were prepared by hydrothermal method and citric acid assisted heating method, and their composites with WPU materials were prepared respectively. XRD, SEM, FTIR and other methods were used to characterize the structure and morphology of the above materials. The results show that the micro morphology of the four kinds of ZnO samples are small stone, needle, cookie and sheet, and the crystal structure is complete and the purity is high; According to the vertical combustion test standard GB / t h 5455-2014, the combustion performance of WPU / ZnO Composite was tested. It was found that the composite with small stone like zinc oxide as the inorganic component had the best flame retardant performance. Finally, the tensile properties of the four composites were tested, and the composite with small stone zinc oxide as inorganic component still had the best comprehensive mechanical properties. This indicates that WPU / ZnO Composite has the potential as flame retardant functional material and can be used in many fields.
