Sri Lanka To Build Textile Industrial Park
Sri Lanka's cabinet approved the Ministry of industry's proposal this week to build a 275 acre Textile Industrial Park in battiklo, Sri Lanka's daily Financial Times reported on October 30. Cabinet co spokesman Dr. patirana said the cabinet also approved the declaration of the Industrial Park as a national strategic development project.
The construction of Textile Industrial Park has always been the goal of Sri Lanka's clothing industry. Experts pointed out that this can help the garment industry hit by the new crown epidemic to overcome the external uncertainties of turbulence and make use of the changes in global value chain to recover faster.
