New Fiber Technology Has Become A New Engine.

The reporter discovered that as the only national torch plan high tech characteristic industrial base in the city, Tongxiang new fiber high tech characteristic industrial base has become the "new engine" to stimulate the industrial economic growth of the whole city.

Since 2001, the Tongxiang municipal government has taken advantage of the situation to plan for the construction of a new high-tech industrial base with fiber characteristics. The agglomeration and leading role of the new fiber in the city's economy has become more prominent, and has formed a strong industrial cluster advantage.

The enterprises in the base mainly involve the development and production of functional and differential fiber, high strength glass fiber and products, Tencel series, soybean fiber series blended yarn and other fiber products.

So far, there are 29 existing fiber manufacturing enterprises and more than 30 affiliated enterprises, including 7 key high-tech enterprises and 10 high-tech enterprises at the provincial level.

In the first half of this year, under the severe economic situation of the whole country, the base enterprises still handed out a satisfactory pcript: sales revenue was 10 billion 550 million yuan, an increase of 15.9% over the same period last year.

According to Gu Zhenghua, director of the hi tech Bureau of the Municipal Bureau of science and technology, the healthy development of the base is mainly due to the sustainable development road of "taking technological innovation as a breakthrough and extending the base industry chain".

With the closer cooperation between base enterprises and universities and research institutes, a series of works have been carried out in Tongxiang Province, such as the development of chemical fiber technology development center, Tongxiang glass fiber and composite materials research and development center and the establishment of three provincial research institutes of Tongxiang new Australian wool textile technology research and development center. The new fiber industry of our city has been effectively extended, and a large number of extended enterprises have been developed, such as extending to the warp knitting industry on the chemical fiber, extending to the downstream products on glass fiber, and extending to the woolen knitwear industry on the wool textile fiber.

Now, the base will focus on the development of functional differential fiber, high strength glass fiber and products, and the three major science and technology industrial parks are rapidly rising.

At present, the Tong Kun chemical fiber industrial park has built up the Tung Kun group to become the largest production enterprise of China's largest filament filament production through the relocation, construction and concentration of Tung Kun's wholly owned chemical fiber production enterprise. Its sales revenue is more than ten billion yuan.

The industrial park, based on the giant stone group, built around the extension and matching of the upstream and downstream industries, and built many enterprises, such as fiberglass mesh cloth, wall cloth, filter cloth, electronic cloth, geotextile material and so on.

Scientific input must yield high output.

According to statistics, in recent years, the base has organized and implemented more than 300 scientific and technological projects at all levels, including 32 Torch projects, 26 new high-tech products and 6 state-level new products.

More than 20 national patents have been applied (2 authorized patents), and 5 products and technical standards have been formed.

7 high-tech R & D centers have been set up, including 3 provincial-level R & D centers (technology centers).

In order to keep the base sustainable and healthy development, our city has also issued some policy opinions on strengthening the new fiber characteristic industrial base, such as setting up special science and technology funds, giving enterprises technical pformation discount, and establishing loan guarantee funds for industrial development.
